Preprepared list of plots

Posted on 04/27/2011 by Conrad

Started compiling these prior to this journal:

The list below are all the story ideas I want to write about:

– about a concierge at a hospital. some people ask him for directions, but some ignore him.

– Story about a Dream crusher – a person who crushes people’s dreams. He’s selected to do it to test how much a person has got. Some people succeed, some kills themselves. He’s ready to retire and is looking for someone to take over.

– person who owns all the ZZZZs.

– play where the person is only able to communicate freely using text messages.

– a woman fights to take back her soul from the devil.

– a starving customer must decide between satisfying her appetite or face her greatest fear of being pitchy.

– One Tweet Day

– Pimps Don’t Cry

– meeting a panhandler from your past.

– Boys Don’t Bake Cake – might change the title of this play since I want to focus on why this woman can’t live without a boyfriend. I guess it’s more of a dependency issue she has. why can’t she? nadir – not only she loses her boyfriend, but she also loses her BFF in Justin.

– Good One, God!

– The Tsismis Club

– on the topic of Bullying

– Standing Above Pajaro

That story about the kid at DeAnza that was gonna shoot the place up. what’s the bigger problem here? Counseling session with his counselor at the jail. bring back memories and family. ask why would someone want to blow/shoot up a school. vigilante or cry for attention from his family/girlfriend/friends. twist? I’ve wanted to write this story since it came out, so now’s the time. getting bullied. should so research about this and build the story from there. will definitely build out time line! feels like a modern day equus. should be interesting. what kind of sharp dialogue would happen with a dark play and subject matter as this. what are the characters. change the names to not exploit the situation, but still work it.

– all about Han – an uplifting play about a person named Han who’s independent spirit changes a community

– a Fil-Am version of The Wonderful Wizard of Oz. An allegory tale of a person being transported to another fantastical kingdom where she tries to find her way home. A play with music for the entire family but has a unconscious political message.

– title: I See How It Is

– a man is set up on a blind date by his mom with another guy. But the guy is straight.

– Family “shame” of secrets from other family members. I see that being pretty cultural.

– old time Elvis impersonator too proud to give up on his dreams.

– @aivster: I just got a text message around 1 in the morning. Number I don’t recognize and all it said was “Bye”. Um creepy

– song idea Questioning Me

– how much would it take to take you home tonight? Here’s a check for $2M

– Unrequited Friendship

– title: Google: Snuffleupagus – a play about trying to find something that doesn’t exist (i.e. Love, Happiness, Religion, Death, etc.)

– title: Lose, Lose

– a play about retired navy personal whom are used as scapegoats by the military.

– a play about either circus performers caught in a mystery. very much a comedy but should also be a commentary about all the differences in people.

– need a Lola character who is either like a loud brash personality or total hippie astrology person.

– will it be possible in the future for a person to live to 150 to 200 years old? will a person want to? i heard about this topic from listening to a homily on the radio, when in the year 2045, technology and science are moving at such a fast rate, that there will be a time when the possibility for people to live longer will happen.
