I’m back!
Feels like forever since I posted a new entry on this site. But I’m kinda stoked about the new look and that I FINALLY have been able to post up most of my produced plays.
One of the reasons for my need to have these put up is because I had a health scare a couple of weeks ago. Health scare = a heart attack. It’s taken me a while to realize just how scary that was to go through. Recently, I’ve had one of my closest friends pass away because of a heart attack.
I’m grateful and lucky to be alive! And one of the things I realized when I was lying in the hospital, was what will I have left behind? I don’t have a family so a next generation of me can’t be left. So what else is there… my plays. Because of the work I put in writing them, I’d like to think that they are worthy of a leave behind of me. They are each original in thought. Well, except for maybe THICKER THAN WINE as that’s an adaptation from a novel. But I believe most, if not all, of the dialogue is mine including the staging of it. But back to my point of having left something behind… they’re here on this site for eternity… or until my server goes kaput.
The next part of this plan is to let others know that these are here, so the next phase is a blitz on FB of links to each of the plays and a little commentary on each of them. That’s one of the good things about creating this site on WordPress is that each post is it’s own link and the link can be posted on FB with the Featured Image.
Of course this put a little hold on new projects, but at least I conquered one goal of leaving something behind.
